The Friends of Yellagonga (inc) scooped the Community Achievement Award for their work over the past 13 years. As well as carring out vegetation and maintenance of eight sites within the Regional Park, Deputy Mayor Sam Salpietro said the award was particulary relevant because the group's work had strong links to the City's Local Environment Strategy.
