Our Roving Reporter and the Nursery Gnome have been busy in providing updates to the Website and there have been many updates to the various Blogs under the Managed Sites and Nursery updates and the External FOY Blog Sites plus we have a new Correspondent in Sue who has given an outline on the World Migratory Bird day. Thank you Sue. Other suitable contributions are appreciated from our Members.
We are still seeking Volunteers to Manage various Sites and new recruits would be appreciated in both the Nursery and the Yellagonga Park work which is now in full swing following excellent rains. Does your employer; or if you are an employer want to arrange a team building day whilst assisting us in rehabilitating the Park. Please contact

Take a walk or bike ride through the Park and enjoy the results of the past years work by the FOY Members in rehabilitating the various Sites under their Management. Don't let the sun or rain??? put you off as there is a surprising amount of shade and a breeze off the lake.
The FOY Web Site is now updated regularly, so drop by occasionally and see what we are up to, on site, in the Park and the Nursery.
There will be less updated material under the heading of "News", as in the past; as separate Blogs have been set up under Clubhouse, Nursery ,Managed Sites and Kevin's External FOY Blog Sites.
Willing hands both experienced and inexperienced are always welcome, following a successful 2012 planting and Park maintenance season we have now propagated, over the summer months, around 10,000 plants to go into the Park in the 2013 season, as soon as the rains commence.
There are also various monitoring programs that we are engaged in covering the wild life and fauna in the Yellagonga Regional Park. Unfortunately the Volunteers are a little thin on the ground and it is a very large Park. If you have a particular interest in wildlife or birds we would certainly welcome more willing hands.
Contact Kevin on 9401 7938, if you require more details. Set Workdays are displayed on the Calendar but we also have work days on other days - generally Tuesday and Saturday.
