An arson attack in December 2009 badly affected an  area of Yellagonga Regional Park adjacent to Hocking Rd in Kingsley. Friends of Yellagonga members have been revegetating the site.  A recent planting day organised in conjunction with the DEC resulted in many hundreds more plants being added to this badly blackened area.
